RESEARCH As Research Associate Professor of Environmental Sciences, I conduct research about global environmental change with emphasis on terrestrial ecosystems.

Currently, I serve as a program scientist in NASA's Terrestrial Ecology Program and in the agency's Office of Earth Science. I am located full-time at NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC; however, I can still be reached by e-mail to my University of Virginia address.
