Scherzino

Scherzino is a lively, four-minute work for bassoon or bass oboe and piano. It was written to be performed as an energetic opening to a recital or as an encore at the end of a program.

Scherzino was inspired by Jeniffer Paull, who encourages composers to write for the negelected members of the double reed family. I dedicated the Scherzino to her.
