This course introduces the fundamentals of modeling groundwater systems. The course emphasises the evaluation, development, and application of computer models. Modeling techniques include analytical solutions, finite difference and finite element methods, particle tracking, and inverse modeling. Models are applied to flow and transport in saturated and unsaturated groundwater systems.
