The Center for International Education (CIE) is the umbrella for internationally focused central functions at UW-Milwaukee, including International Student and Scholar Services, Overseas Programs and Partnerships, and Academic and Outreach Programs. CIE has also been designated as the central organizing point for such new initiatives as the Milwaukee Idea’s "Global Passport Project" and the new BA in Global Studies.

Since 1985, the International Trade Center of Waukesha County Technical College has assisted more than 8,000 clients and companies find solutions to their export and import challenges. The center's educational programs focus on practical international business skills. Skilled researchers offer assistance on a variety of trade-related topics. Specially designed export development programs assist companies to become proactive global traders.

The Wisconsin World Trade Center is a private, non-profit, member-driven corporation that is one of over 300 members of the World Trade Centers Association. WSCI leads the movement for local community development and volunteer action by motivating and empowering private citizens, municipal officials, and business leaders to conduct long-term programs of mutual benefit.
