Faculty Positiions

Librarian to manage and continue the development of one of our school libraries into a multi-media resource.

Outdoor Education Coordinator to design and run our Outdoor Education programme and work toward the establishment of an Outdoor Education Centre at the Hanifl Centre. The Coordinator will be involved in outdoor and leadership activities, service learning, environmental studies and issues relating to Himalayan ecology.

Computer lab supervisor to oversee our Elementary and Middle School lab and advise students.

High School subject teachers to teach up to AP (College-prep) level in the following subjects: Geography and Social Studies.

RESIDENCE POSITIONS
Residence staff (teacher-counselors) to join the residence teams responsible for the care, nurture and discipline of students before and after school and at weekends, in the following residences:
***Senior Girls Residence Supervisor (Community Centre, for 30+ girls in Grades 10-12) - mature female candidate to understudy the present supervisor, and take over responsibility for the residence in July 2001, or residence staff member
***Elementary Boys and Girls (Edge Hill) - long or short-term term staff member

ADMINISTRATION AND SUPPORT POSITIONS
Assistant to Principal in the area of Project Management. The postholder will need a background in civil engineering and/or building project management and will preferably be fluent in Hindi. The school is embarking on several major renovation projects over the next three years and the postholder will assist the Principal in supervising the planning and execution of these projects.

Faculty Positions

Guidance Counselor to hold a senior position with responsibility for managing the two main aspects of guidance in the school: student personal counseling and college preparation for our 75 graduates yearly.

Middle School Coordinator to be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the section arid for leadership of the Middle School team. He or she will also have teaching responsibilities.

Computer lab supervisors to oversee and manage our two open-access labs in the Quad (Elementary and Middle School) and High School. Supervisors have a range of duties including teaching software applications and research skills, advising students on projects and supporting and training staff. Applicants may have a teaching, library or computer industry background.

Elementary School Teacher to teach Grade 3 or 4 all subjects except Music, Languages, Art and PE.

Middle School teachers to take a homeroom class and to teach across the Middle School (Grades 6-8, ages 11-14) in one of the following subjects: Social Science, Math, Art, ESL (working with individuals and small groups only)

High School subject teachers to teach up to college preparatory level in the following subjects: Art /Ceramics, History (US History AP), Hindi, Math (Calculus AP), English (English Language and Literature AP), Chemistry (Chemistry AP)

MUSIC STAFF POSITIONS
Music instructors to contribute to our extensive music programme in the areas of: Piano (to advanced level), Voice and choir, General music

RESIDENCE POSITIONS

Support technician for the Information Technology department, which manages the School's computer network and communication systems. The postholder should have experience in providing technical support for Windows '95, Office '97 and Windows NT
