Jumna Bridge 1957, hiking to Chakrata
1940s || 1951 and 1982 < > Nag Tiba 1959 || 1959

Our dads took Dick and me (Philip) on a 4-5 day hike from Landour to Chakrata. The first day we hiked down to the Jamna river, where there
was a foot bridge and a camping place. Then we hiked up to Chaktrata (at 7,000 feet), spent a couple days in a cabin there and scaled up the local peak.
Finally, hiked down to the plains and caught a bus back to Landour. Probably during the 10-days Vacation of early June, either in 1956 or 1957.
