SHAWE & ROSENTHAL ATTORNEYS VISIT THE LAW SCHOOL
Please join us for another in a series of informal discussions of labor and employment law practice sponsored by the Program for Employment and Labor Law Studies. On Wednesday, October 9th at 4:00 p.m. in room E103, Earle K. Shawe, a 1934 graduate of the Law School and founder of Shawe & Rosenthal, will be available to answer your questions. He will be joined by his partner Bruce Harrison who is not a graduate of U.Va., but we should try not to hold that fact against him. Shawe & Rosenthal was one of the first law firms in the country to specialize in labor and employment law, and the firm has developed a national reputation in the field.
I feel certain that hearing the perspective of attorneys with such a wealth of experience will be enlightening. But on the off chance that enlightenment is not a sufficient inducement to attend, I have once again arranged for our benevolent sponsor to provide cookies and sodas to bolster your late afternoon blood sugar level. I look forward to seeing many of you on Wednesday afternoon.
