My memories
	Stand stagnant, like
	The remains
	Of a half-eaten lunch,
	Their appeal gone
	But their evanescent scent
	Still lingering.
	Mind cells
	Lie like empty beer bottles,
	The aroma of their contents
	All that's left
	Of their once sparkling contents.
