Soon,
	All the trees
	Will shed their leaves.
	I have
	No leaves to shed,
	No way to sleep
	And then awaken,
	New and whole again.
	I must grow
	Ever older,
	Ever emptier,
	Ever farther
	From the Spring
	I long to feel.
