Upon glancing out at the coal
	pile near University Hospital

	Like a lump of coal
	Am I--
	Hard, dark and rough.
	I drink in
	The sun and give
	Nothing back.
	Who will set me aflame?
	Who will release
	The pent-up warmth and love
	Compressed within my soul?
