| Abstract : Ever wondered what goes on in your body when you walk, run, dance, or swim? The process of how we move involves many amazing events that span several physical scales, ranging from the motion of tiny protein engines within muscles to the coordination of whole body locomotion. In this talk, I'll describe how we are using mathematical modeling to understand the amazing process of human movement and to help treat people who have movement disorders. |
