Carleson Measures in Partial Differential Equations

Abstract : In this talk I will present fundamental properties of Carleson measures, their connection with BMO, the space of bounded mean oscillations, and the Hardy-Littlewood maximal function. Introduced by the Swedish mathematician Lennart Carleson in the proof of the Corona problem, Carleson measures have since proven to be extremely useful in many fields of mathematics such as Complex and Harmonic Analysis, Operator Theory, and Partial Differential Equations.
