| Abstract : This talk will present elementary aspects of number theory that are used in solving recreational problems. The theory of numbers is a field of study that has excited the interest of mathematicians for centuries and is primarily concerned with properties of the positive integers. The talk will introduce diophantine equations, discuss divisibility and then focus on prime numbers. |
