| Abstract : The goal is to establish well-posedness of the Poisson problem for the heat operator in a bounded Lipschitz cylinder, with lateral datum taken from an anisotropic Besov space. A basic special class of anisotropic Besov spaces is introduced in conjunction with the parabolic norm, and several important properties of these spaces are discussed.
