Barnyard Blizzard. Woodstock, Vermont, 1940
MPW: It was 32 degrees below zero some of the time, making it necessary to keep one camera wrapped up with hot water bottles in a blanket in the car with the
heater on, while I tried to work with the other as quickly as possible before the shutter froze. The snow was so deep and drifted I found it necessary to put ski pole
baskets on the end of each tripod leg to prevent it from sinking in the snow.
