mix tapes and playlists

In the future, when social scientists study the mix tape phenomenon,
they will conclude - in fancy language - that the mix tape was a form of 'speech'
particular to the late twentieth century, soon replaced by the 'play list.'

Thanks to all who filled out a survey on their listening and mixing habits. Soon (probably in May 2006) I'll post some of my thoughts on the answers I received, and I'll also post some 'raw' listening statistics and mixing stories that I think are particularly interesting.

If you supplied an email address when filling out your survey, you will receive a note when everything is up and running.

Best,
