Troy ME is located along US 202 but there doesn't seem to be a single, concentrated town area. The Troy Volunteer Fire Department has a rather nice multi-door building but the fire truck seen in this picture may have been put out to pasture. |

The Troy Central School is located west of the fire station. The building seems rather new and well kept. The only car in the parking lot on this weekend day is Elizabeth's car. Troy ME is the Eastern-most Troy in the USA at 69.24oW; the Western-most Troy is in California. |

The Troy General Store is located a bit down the road from the Post Office. They provide plastic gloves at the pumps so customers can avoid getting fuel on their hands and keep their hands from being frozen to the pump. |
